Integrated and Stand-Alone Analyzers for Key Cell Culture Process Parameters

Ambr® systems have been developed with compatibility to a range of bioprocess analyzer technologies. This can be via integration to the Ambr® system, or via automated transfer of bioreactor sample data and return of analytical results.

Integrated analyzers allow routine measurement of key cell culture process parameters including cell viability, viable cell density and metabolite levels. Analyzers with data-connectivity provide critical quality attribute (CQA) information including product titer, glycosylation levels and cell culture media composition.

Fully integrated into the Ambr® system, bioreactor samples are pipetted to the Analysis Module and results returned to the Ambr® software alongside bioreactor process data.

  • Provides total viable cell density and percentage viability
  • Allows cell counts to be performed overnight and at weekends
  • Results can be used for process control, e.g. samples for product analysis taken once target cell densities are reached
